Recruiter Platform — Billing & Refund Policy

This policy governs billing, refunds, and license management for Recruiter accounts on hire.resumelyn.com. B2B purchases are not subject to the 14-day consumer right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, as this protection applies exclusively to individual consumers acting outside their professional capacity.
1. License Purchases
All licenses are purchased via self-serve checkout on hire.resumelyn.com using a valid payment method. Licenses are granted immediately upon successful payment confirmation.
2. No Right of Withdrawal
Because access to the Platform is granted immediately upon purchase and you are acting in a professional or business capacity, the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Consumer Rights Directive Art. 16(m) does not apply. All purchases are final upon payment.
3. Refund Exceptions
Refunds will only be issued in the following cases:
- A verified technical failure on Resumelyn's end prevented access to the Platform entirely for more than 72 continuous hours after purchase.
- You were charged more than once for the same license due to a payment processing error.
To request a refund under these exceptions, contact hello@resumelyn.com within 14 days of the purchase date. Include your account email, the transaction reference, and a description of the issue. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
4. Renewals and Cancellations
If your license includes automatic renewal, you will receive an email reminder at least 7 days before the renewal date. You may cancel renewal at any time before the renewal date by contacting hello@resumelyn.com. Cancellation after renewal is processed stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current period.
5. Account Suspension for Breach
If your account is suspended or terminated for violation of the Terms of Service (including misuse of candidate data), no refund will be issued for any remaining license period. This applies regardless of how recently the license was purchased.
6. Pricing Changes
Resumelyn reserves the right to modify license pricing at any time. Active subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before a price change takes effect at renewal. Changes do not apply to licenses already paid for the current period.
